Divine Mercy Chaplet Rosary

Ever since Divine Mercy Sunday, I have had a very strong desire to make Divine Mercy Chaplet rosaries.  After searching for some time, I finally have found a combination that is pleasing.  It is made with Bronze medals, Riverstones dyed to a deep garnet red, and golden topaz Swarovski Crystals.

In the opening prayer of the Chaplet we say,
'O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of Mercy for us, I trust in You!'

The red stones of this chaplet symbolize the Most Precious Blood, the crystals symbolize the water. The center feature the Sacred Heart, all aflame with Christ's love. The crucifix features a corpus, encircled with radiant rays. These rays remind us of the rays of mercy that are depicted in the Divine Mercy image. The light which flashes from the crystals of this chaplet, will also remind you of these rays of mercy and flames of love.

Our Lord said to St. Faustina,
'Encourage souls to say the Chaplet which I have given you...Even if there were a sinner most hardened, if he were to recite this chaplet only once, he would receive grace from My infinite mercy.'

Bronze Our Lady of Grace Medal Necklace and Earring set

Soft creamy colors are very appealing and neutral enough to go with everything.  That's what makes this Aragonite and Calcite gemstone necklace so versatile.  But what makes it really special is the gorgeous Our Lady of Grace Medal.

The Our Lady of Grace medal is solid bronze, as is the scroll center.  The clasp and earring wires are solid antiqued brass.  The beads are Aragonite, and Calcite, intermixed with Czech crystals.   $45.00 Sold  Special order

Antique Reproduction Crucifix on a simple chain

There is something wonderful about the details in a diminutive piece.  Maybe that is why I think this crucifix is so special.  It was too small for a rosary, and too big for a bracelet, but it is perfect for an everyday necklace.  It is one of the amazing antique reproductions that I hope will find its way back into our the Catholic world.

The crucifix is 1' tall.  The necklace is 18' long and is for sale for $12 on my Etsy shop. While it lasts!

...Azurite Chrysocola Rosary Bracelet with Bronze Medals

I have been wanting to make a bracelet with Azurite Chrysocola for some time now.  Today, I finally had a chance. The combinations of greens with blues have always been very appealing to me.  In my experience, people seem to be drawn to the unusual nature of these gemstones.
